Montcabrier

Our next painting/photo opportunity was a really tiny village called Montcabrier which, in the middle of the day, seemed deserted except for a group of schoolchildren being herded out for a game of some kind of ball sport by their harassed-looking teachers. We all headed off individually to explore, but this little place seems not to have changed in centuries. I didn't do any paintings of this scenic spot, but added to my collection of picturesque French windows instead. The little donkey was quite pleased to see company, but the French cat, like felines everywhere, affected disinterest.
